Thanks for the birthday wishes! I hope they had a good day too. It's the first birthday that they weren't all together. Jack and Elizabeth are away at college, 100 miles from home. Jessica misses them terribly. She also spent her day at college and at work. I told Jess, "welcome to adulthood where your birthday becomes just another work day". Luckily, we celebrated together over the weekend. Jack and Elizabeth said their friend decorated their dorm room doors and bought pizza for them and sang to them. I'm so glad they made a group of friends so quickly. Trish Dawson

WOW! 18!!! You made it! LOL!
My oldest will be 18yo in 2 years and the triplets in 5 years. I think back to 5 years ago and time has seemed to have flown by!
I'm prepping myself for college. Hopefully, they will all choose to attend in-state colleges.

thanks for the belated wishes. It's an adjustment. I gave a list of HOUSE RULES to my daughter that lives at home because she was beginning to think that being 18 meant no more chores, and do what she pleases, etc. We nipped that in the bud. I told her that the HOUSE RULES also apply to her sibs when they are home. Trish Dawson
