None of them done but all begun or at least thought about.

Got some presents over the Thanksgiving holiday if I saw it on sale.

Just got a good idea for the family Christmas card so will work on it this week.

We really don't start any decorating until St. Nicholas Day (Monday) so tho' we did get the boxes down from the attic tonight and we'll go cut down a tree tomorrow, it won't be done until Monday.

Great post, Kathy!

1. Christmas cards written and mailed DONE

2. Family picture for Christmas card taken DONE

3. Shopping completed ALMOST DONE

4. Gifts all wrapped Only those that had to be mailed

5. Gifts under the tree Not yet

6. Tree up and decorated DONE!!!

7. House decorated inside and out Getting more outside decorations today!

8. Cookies baked and in the freezer HAH!

9. Menus planned for the holidays Almost done!

10. Teacher's gifts purchased N/A

11. House cleaned and ready for guests Why bother until moments before people arrive!

12. Keeping that holiday cheer Done

13. Going out to look at Christmas light displays Planned!

I found that as the boys get older, their lists are smaller and presents more expensive than ever. Things like phones, watches, electronics are small and pricey! So less stuff to wrap and put under the tree! And less shopping, too.

That reminds me, I'll make a separate post if we want to do a holiday card exchange. We've done it in the past!

I am having a hard time with Christmas again this year. It should be easy because everyone just wants money. But it is really hard to get into the Christmas mood when you aren't at the malls looking for all the great deals.

I am going shopping all day tomorrow, but I really don't have anything I have to buy!!! I am hoping my shopping buddy shows up and we will just have a fun girls day out.

I took 1/2 day off work yesterday to shop, but I didn't buy much. I still need to buy for 2 of my dds, and I have no idea what to get them this year! Still haven't bought for dh either. He says not to buy him anything, but I don't feel right not getting him anything.

I told dh to buy gift cards for the piano teacher and bus driver today. I don't know if he'll get around to doing it.

I haven't wrapped hardly any gifts yet, and I always LOVE to wrap! Not motivated this year.

#1 thru #13 -- Not yet started.

#14 -- Finish with divorce proceedings by Christmas

Looks like we have #14 officially completed this Wednesday. We all met today and hammered out a compromise. We were not all that far apart and we pretty much ended up in the middle. Ex-dw did not look too happy. I think she would still prefer to give me zero, followed by lots more zeros.

So after Wednesday I had better start paying more attention to #1 to #13 -- actually...the second part of #7, and #8 to #11...don't count on me getting around to those!LOL!

We'll go cut the tree next week-end...a small one this year (three or four feet) I think.
