I hope everyone's Monday is going well!
I spent the week-end helping some friends move into their new house. The boys volunteered to help out on Saturday and were a big help -- and with no whining. Having three extra bodies carry boxes and all made it go so much easier.
I am very proud of the guys! Everyone else there were very impressed with the teenagers. Saturday we had good weather, Sunday, a light rain -- but the furniture and stuff we did not want to get wet got moved on Saturday.
I did end up with a dresser that did not fit into their new house, so after a year in my "new" place, the bedroom with just one boy in it finally got a dresser!
No questions, but I hope to hear from everyone...it has been a quiet couple weeks around here!

Greetings Fellow Triplet Parents,
Everyone is back home from college. My 800 sq ft rental is bursting at the seams once again.I now have four dishwashers, laundymaids, dog walkers, lawn mowers, cooks woo hoo! Of course it is now the light bill, groceries, clothes, school supplies times 4 all over again..BUT I am loving it.
Daughter number one is going to be counselor at Interlochen again this summer.
Daughter number two is going on an all expenses paid European tour with the Blue Lake Orchestra
Daughter number three is taking summer school courses and working at a day care
My youngest is going to get a job (she doesn't know this yet )
School is just about over for me but I eill be teaching in my neighborhood school this summer and playing in a few bands. The house will get a deep cleaning, too.
I can't believe how fast the time has gone. I drove by the girls preschool yesterday and remember well their first day.

Hello! It has been pretty quiet here lately. It's a busy time of year though!
I'm officially finished with school! If I have to open ONE more textbook I'm going to puke! My last few classes were excellerated classes and life was pretty tense around here lately.
The kids only have a few weeks of school left. Doesn't seem possible because it feels as if we've skipped spring. The weather has been unseasonably cold. I'm looking forward to hot, humid weather. Tank tops, shorts and bare feet.

It's been a crazy couple of weeks around here. We did have our family portraits done and they were beautiful. Check them out on Facebook. I can't believe how fast the boys have grown up!
I am officially old and falling apart. I definitely have a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder and a problem with a joint. Surgery is necessary but I will be putting it off until Fall. Too busy this summer with the boys' activities.
The next month will be absolutely fun, crazy, and hectic. Swim season for the 4 boys is underway. Water polo starts next week. Senior Ball is Memorial Day weekend for my oldest. My oldest graduates high school in June and the triplets graduate junior high the day after.
The days seem to fill up and fly by. Right now, we are dealing with a broken refrigerator that won't be repaired until Thursday. Paperwork is piling up. End-of-school activities are filling up the volunteer schedule. Just busy, busy, busy.
Glad to see Vaughn start the weekly update!

The boys brought home their school photos -- we did not buy any. A and B both complained their photos made them look too young (someday that will be a good thing...LOL!) I suppose I could do some B&W portraits for the occasion. I just printed a few for a girl (16 yes old) who is graduating from high school and will be attending Stanford next Fall (majoring in theoritical physics). Such portraits are not my forte, but I did not do too bad.
Sorry to hear about the need for surgery, Sharon...getting old is not easy. I have major tennis elbow right now -- played Alex the other day until the pain was too much...should have stopped earlier. Not a whole lot of strength in the arm at the present time. Moving boxes and furniture did not help it much either.
Still have the remains of a cold that the boys gave me a week ago. I should be off to bed, but I still have some laundry in the machine.
I do hope to go off for a week on a solo backpack trip -- first week of June. Then some work getting ready for a workshop I am giving in Vancouver, Canada on June 24 and 25 -- I'll take the boys up to their Aunt and Uncle in Spokane on that trip, too (right after their 8th grade graduation!)
Well, the machine stopped -- time to put the clothes in the drier! Good night!
