#3732, "clothes sizes for your kids ?"

The shoe size post prompted this question for me- what size clothes do your kids wear ?

My boys are very different in EVERY way imaginable including their size.
My kids are 8-1/2 yrs old
A (boy) wears 10 huskys -he's always been the biggest, built like a football player
B (boy) wears 7 slims and still has to wear either adjustable waist pants and make them smaller or roll over the waistband to have them fit.
C (girl) wears size 10s (Gap clothes) they are not even that long on her either my kids seem to be growing like crazy lately.

Braden has even grown taller (not a lot, but anything is great for him) with all of his medical challenges.

Thank goodness for hand-me-downs from my older son. But the trio is shaped differently than my older son.

My older son is 11 1/2. He wears a size 14-16 pants and size XL (boys) or S (men's) size shirt. He's almost 5'1" tall.

My trio is 8 years old. Two wear size 10 pants. The other is a 10 slim. All wear size 10-12 shirts.

I just put them in size 14 underwear. Can anyone explain to me why underwear is always sized small?

My tiny little things are way behind - they inherited my legs(or lack of)

7 dh - 7 slim (pushing into 8)
ggb trio are almost 5 - girls both wear 3t pants, 4t shirts but I buy 4 Slim pants cuz I find they are generally cuter than toddler clothes - love the 4-7 styles.
And our triplet son - 4 slim and 4T

What a fun idea.

Zac is now 13.5 - he grew 8.5" last year, he's now 5'9 and 165#. He wears a 32 pant and men's large shirts.

The triplets will be 7 in May

Noah (peanut) wears 6 slim in pants (still MUST have adjustable waist or drawstring to make them small enough) and 6/7 in shirts

Karissa & Jazmine wear 7 in pants and 7/8 in shirts.

All of my kids have grown like weeds this year. It's a good thing I work in retail (GAP) - I need that discount this year :0)

Mine are 5y3m

Thomas can wear a 2T if they are long enough. And I did find 2 pair at Sears that are long enough. But mostly I buy 3T's and pin the waist. Matt wears a 3T. However, they are just barely long enough on both of them. Whats ironic is they are the same height and the same weight, but Thomas's waist is definitely smaller than Matt's

Kate wears 4T except in the last month or so, she's gotten taller, so they are now a smidge too short.

Shirts I always buy large, so right now all of the shirts for the boys are in 4T. Some of them fit them okay, others are a bit large. Kate's tops are in 5s, a few 6s. 4s fit okay, but are too short at the waist.
