#533, "Hilton Head, SC advice"

My husband and I have decided we're taking the kids to Hilton Head for vacation since we've never been there. I need advice from anyone who lives or vacations there on where to stay! We are planning to go in early summer. We want a furnished 2bdr Villa with a pool, kid's pool, beach, and lots of close activities.
I've looked at 3 properties: Sea Crest Villas at North Shore, Palmetto Dunes Resort, and Sea Pines Resort. There are lots of different Villas to choose from in Palmetto Dunes and Sea Pines. Are any better than others? Have you stayed anywhere else and had a good experience?

Everything I've read on Hilton Head sounds wonderful: the marinas, bike riding, beach, crabbing, watching the dolphins, the light house, etc. We just want to make sure we stay in a good location that is convenient.

Oh, and if you have any other suggestions for "First Timers" (ie restaraunts, activities for kids, things NOT to miss), please let me know!

*sigh* Hilton Head just typing this brings me back to my college days. I really have no good advice for family stuff like I said it was a spring break sort of thing for me. I know it's expense there are cheaper alternatives like North Myrtle Beach but still it's beautiful beaches and nice hotels....that's all I remember. Have fun!!
