Hi all,
Tracey is very grateful for all your well wishes and support for her tummy tuck. She had it this morning at 8 am, and pulled through like a trooper. She is in recovery now, and will be hospitalized overnight. Accordingly to her MIL, "she is doing real well!"
I just wanted to give you a little update, because I know many of you are thinking of her as she embarked on this journey.

I have personally never been through this myself, but my friend had a tummy tuck three years ago, and I was by her side from beginning to end. So I definitely know that this IS a time when she needs the most support!

Thanks so much for posting for her. Please tell Tracey she is in my thoughts and prayers for an easy recovery! Let her know I need an update with details when she is feeling better! Mine is scheduled for May 11!!!

Thanks for thinking of Tracey.
Best wishes for your upcoming surgery too!
As previously mentioned, my friend had it done (she is a trip mom), and she looks so amazing! Her stomach looks like an ironing board!
The best part was seeing her so happy after all she went through!

Glad it went so well. I hope she haS an easy post op. I tried to convince the drs to let me have a tuck with my c-section but its a no go.

Hi! How are you doing? How is your precious sparkle?
I hope real well! I am thinking of you all!
Sometimes in Phoenix, the dr's will do a mini tuck along with the section, but it all depends on who delivers you. I think it should be more universal! A lot of moms didn't get one, and they felt cheated.

You are soo funny (flatlands!!)
I called and talked toher dh today, and he was on the way to the hospital to pick her up! I can't wait to talk with her soon!
Don't know when she'll be able to check these great posts, so to encourage her and as a keepsake, I plan to send them to her.

Hi Tami,
Ironically, I just got off the phone with our girl!
She sounds SOOOOOO perky. According to her, she says, "I am in a little bit of pain, and I still have all the bandages on, but I go to the dr. on Thursday to probably have the drains pulled."
Thursday is a big day, because she will probably get to see her tummy for the first time since surgery!
Thanks for asking, I am getting ready to send these replies to her today in her care package
