Rise and shine everyone! For us, it's the last week before spring break so we're hustling to fit everything in before vacation!

It's a short week at school so I'll be scrambling to get ready when the kids aren't here. We're off to Arkansas to see the inlaws. Lots of family are coming in to see us so we'll be a big group. The grandparents will have all six grandsons together for the first time so we'll take lots of photos!

Friends are staying at our house for the week so I have to get the house ready for them and us ready to leave. American Airlines no longer serves food on our flight to Dallas so I have to pack lunch for 6 of us too! For goodness sakes!

One of my 7 year olds needs braces already. Because of tongue thrust, we need to get him going in June. I can't believe it! I'll have two in braces. When they finish, I'll have two more ready for braces. I think it's cheaper to buy the orthodontist a nice Hummer!

We should be getting our contractor bids this week for the house remodel. We'll decide on vacation, then be ready to start immediately. Went looking for granite countertops this week. What beautiful selections are out there. Never saw such great slabs before. Gosh knows what it might cost. Our budget will dictate what we get.

Have a great week everyone. Can someone do the Monday update next week? I'm not sure I'll have internet access next week since we'll be in the country!

Cleaning is the theme this week - I have spring cleaning fever...so here I sit on the computer Family coming should motivate me...Finally starting to feel better so I have energy to do some things.

We also have a short week this week and next, so I'm sure I will be hosting the neighborhood boys alot and handing out snacks and drink boxes in the bulk, but that is the way I like it.

Happy Easter, everyone!!

Wow Sharon sounds like you have some fun scheduled. Wish I could.
This week is busy at work I have a training class from Tuesday to Thursday. The kids are on Spring break next week. The grandparents are watching them. So between my mom and the MIL they will be busy. We have too many folks already off so I couldn't take off. But will when the crowds leave and take the kids to Disneyland in a week or two. Get to out to dinner tonight for my stepdad birthday. The kids are excited to see the babysitter. Their preschool's teacher daughter. She is the greatest. She plays the entire time with them. Wednesday I have a housecleaner coming for the first time. I am excited to see how it turns out. My DH is really pissed. He doesn't want one.. I told him tough. Unless he starts scrubbing the toliets and such.. she is coming. So I hate to fight about things like this but after these many weeks of being sick, my mom sick and the kids I can't keep up. It's way to much with everything going on. So far the week isn't too full, just normal dance, therapy so I hope it stays that way.

It will be a short week for us. The kids are out of school for Good Friday. We had our first soccer game on Saturday. The girls had 2 20 min. games. They did fairly well for the first game and Kourtney even scored 1 goal! They still have a hard time listening to the coach and paying attention to what is going on but I know that will come in time. The 2nd game didn't go so well. All of the kids were kinda wandering and really didn't care to play. The other team was really good for 4-5 yr. old made up of mostly little athletic boys who parents are coaches of most of the high school athletics. They knew what they were doing. Schuyler's game was a blowout. They are soooooo good. He scored 7 goals out of 12!!! Shows what a couple of years of experience can do! I think the girls just need time to figure it all out. Right after the games it was off to the community Easter Egg Hunt. So our Saturday was exhausting!

We had our parent meeting for Kindergarten. The Round-up will be this Thursday when the girls will be screened to see where they are at. I'm real anxious about the screenings but my friends tell me not to worry that the girls will be ready. Well I could write more but I'm off to pick them up from gymnastics. Wish I had time to reply to the other posts but I need to go.

Sharon, I can start the next week update if you would like. Let me know. You'll only be 1 state away from me!

** I'm back! Deb- That's a good idea with the drink boxes. Do they manage to get them thrown in the trash when they are done? My DS friends have a hard time doing that. JAC - Sending warmer weather your way! Danielle - Hope the housekeeper works out and your DH has a change of heart.

This will be a short school week for us, then it is Spring Break. Not that we are going anywhere, but I'd settle for some honest-to-goodness spring weather!
We are recuperating from this past weekend's fifth birthday party we had at home for the boys. What fun we had! We had a cowboy party with a pony ride and a petting zoo. The rain held off and we had a blast. The animals were so great. You can really go to town with this theme, and it is such fun. Hard to believe that my babies are five and ready for kindergarten (sniff!).

Hello everyone! Other than the cold weather, everything is fine here. Sounds like most of you are doing ok, other than the normal time and financial juggling we all do. Dh and I had fun Saturday night, but not together. There were 6 couples and the girls did one thing and the guys did something else - but we all had fun. Sunday we took the kids to a mall to play Bingo with the Easter Bunny, but the line was so long we just let them on the little train ride, had pizza and later ice cream - so they were happy. Wednesday the trio and I will go with a friend and her kids to story hour, McDonalds and to see Home on the Range. It should be a fun day.

Sunday we'll have my brother and his family over (4 total) for dinner. We're very informal, so no stress there. We just planned it today in fact. Their girls are 18 and 21, so everyone just has fun with our 4 kids and an egg hunt outside. Hopefully we won't be digging them out of the snow this year!

Take care everyone - good luck with the projects and spring cleaning.

We're still working on our kitchen remodel. The tile guy was supposed to be here Friday and finish on Saturday but that didn't happen. My deco tiles didn't come in on time. Then the guys came today but ran into a problem in the wall from when the house was built way back in the mid 60's. So we have an electrician (my sons friend) here tonight trying to fix it so the tile guys can come back tomorrow and start doing all the prep work and maybe getting the tile on the walls! UGH!!! Things never go as planned. The last time I had this tile guy do work in our house, the job went from a $500.00 repair job to a $4,500.00 remodel. But I must say I love the new bathroom I got out of it.

I am on spring break this week so at least I can be home for all the days these guys need me to be here. I did get outside and raked my front yard today. What an awesome day it was. I think it hit 72 degrees.

I too, am having a few family members over for Easter. It will be a small group this year. I am perfectly happy with that.

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter with family and friends.

Hello everyone. I am enjoying reading the updates - I love to see a little slice of what life is like for other moms of triplets. Thank you (all) -- what a great idea.

I am a SAHM; stopped working when my oldest were 2 1/2 because I couldn't keep daycare for 3 toddlers and an infant. I was a computer programmer/analyst in my former life. DH works hard and happens to be traveling last week (thru tomorrow). It's tough when he's gone 'cause his way of pitching in is to read stories and put the older kids to bed. It's a little easier this week, because we have spring break, so I don't have to get them up & out for school. I do love not HAVING to go anywhere!

I am a little envious of the spring weather some of you have described. We are in the U.P. Michigan; and while the days are up to 45 degrees there is still almost 2 feet of packed snow left on the ground. Bare ground is muddy. I call it the mud season - my least favorite of the year.

Baby boy D has a cold and probably an ear infection. He has been pretty unhappy the last day or so. So far Tylenol & Dimetapp have kept him happy. I am trying to hold out until DH is home to have to take the little guy in to the Dr. -- if at all. I really hate taking all the kids in with me.

Happy Easter!!
Love'em all!!

Other than that, what's new? The Girls are supposed to have their first t-ball game today but it rained and I'm not sure what the rest of the day will bring. All 4 kids are sick with nasty coughs and Henry has his first ear infection. The lawyers go to court tomorrow to waste some of my hard-earned money filing motions for a continuence on the divorce . And I'm working towards a promotion to Group Manager this month. Wish me luck

I took Riley to his first dentist appointment today! He did very well, held his mouth wide open from the moment the dentist entered the room! They got a kick out of what a great patient he was! They said they usually dont get that much cooperation at such a young age!
It only took a minute for the dentist to look his teeth over and he was done, with a A+ on his teeth! He got a new tooth brush, floss and toothpaste! He has another appointment in 6mths where the dentist will give his teeth a polish, provided he is so cooperative! Briana goes next week and Jett the week after, they are very excited about going too, they talk about it every day! It will be intersting to see if they do as well as Riley did!

Briana has been potty trained for 5 days now, w/ only one accident! She has done just fabulous and loves her big girl panties!
The boys are still going once in awhile but not just there yet, Im hoping theyll get it by their birthday June 12th, but I know it will click with them sooner or later! Im just glad I have one down done now two to go! LOL!

Its nice to read everyones updates, hope your all doing well!
