#899, "ALL DONE!!!!"

Thank you to everyone who posted encouragement to me. It meant alot today. It was a tough day! I woke up at 5:30 am b/c I was jsut so wired-I was nervous and scared and I thought I was going to throw up! LOL! I was at the other lawyers place from 9 am to 3:30 pm with the ex, both lawyers and a mediator. The mediator was really cool-she's around myage and waws a single mom for 9+ yrs so she was sympathertic. We worked out a deal and it's all cool. The x-DH gets the children the 1st,3rd and 5th weekends every month and partial times during holidays.I get a decent amount of child support,it's all cool. they go to court on Monday for the judge to sign it all and within 30 days it's all over officially. I'm a little sad b/c the mediator revealed to me that the ex is still deeply in love with me-I felt a pang of guilt- but I no longer love him. I turned over every stone in an attempt to make this marriage work but he just wouldn't or couldn't do what was necessary to hold up his end of the deal. Anyway, I am starting to date-yes, already!- and it's all going to work out. I was out of this marriage emotionally a long time ago. He chose his cards and his parents over me and the children so I think I'm ready to start seeing others now. So, thank you again to everyone for the prayers and kind words

Korrie,

I'm so happy the results were something you both could live with. I'm sorry H is still in love with you, but I think it'll be better for everyone if you divorce.

Keep up the good work with the Discovery Toys. Give those kiddos a big hug from all of us. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Glad to hear things went well. I'm sure it'll be much less stressful to know things are settled. When things are up in the air, I feel more stress. You sound very positive and things will move forward just the way you want!

Korrie,

Congrats on an amicable divorce. That is a success in itself. Even if the marriage did not work, provided it ends well, your future will be so much easier.

Best to you and your children!
