My little ones are officially crawling and now I am searching for activities to keep them busy. What sort of activities did you do with your little crawlers outside the house? They are still too little for playing at the park, but we do go and watch from our stroller or the grass. Any ideas?

I wish that I had some advise but I will be waiting to see what the others have to say to this post as mine have just started crawling as well! How old is your trio?

Mine just started crawling too. We went swimming today in a baby pool in the back yard. I also took them to the zoo with the help from my mom on Sunday and we are talking about taking them to a splash city (I think that is the name). It is a water place and they have an area for babies. There is not alot that we can do right now but it will come.

When mine were at the crawling stage, it was starting to get cold outside, so we couldn't do a lot of outdoor activities. However, before they started crawling, we took them to the park on a blanket and let them roll around. I'd imagine you'd be able to do the same with yours. With ours, we just kept them indoors and let them crawl around at home. It's a hard stage to really have a ton of activities, since they are on the floor and you don't really want them getting all the germs from the outside world quite yet.

If you have help and a quiet neighborhood park, you could take them there and put them down the slide slowly on their bellies. That's how we taught our three to go down the slide. But you'll want to have one person at the top and one at the bottom to catch.

Ours also didn't crawl for too long, only a couple months, there are a ton more activities when you can walk. It's a hard stage to entertain.

Today is our girl's first birthday. They too are crawling everywhere around the house. We retrieve two of them back into the living room and the other one is going down the hall again. We have found a park with two baby swings side by side so that is fun for the girls. Is it true what we have always heard that the first year is the hardest with triblets?
