Has anyone used the "Mother's 3rd arm" bottle prop? Does it work? I need something sturdy that holds bottle's weight. The blanket props don't work anymore. They move too much and babies still are not strong enough to hold their own
Suggestions please!!!!

I have never used the Mother's 3rd arm but we have used blankets in boppy pillows, milk maids, and another one I can't think of the name but it was u shaped, pillow like thing that went around their head and had a band that the bottle went in to. When they were younger, laying them in their boppy's on their sides with blankets was the best. Now, we feed them in their reclined high chairs and use the milk maids. That seems to be working for now. I can't wait until thy are old enough to hold their own bottles. I hope you find what works for you!

We had a lot of trouble finding a propping solution that worked. We had trouble with the blanket props, until we got plush bottle holders. I can't find the exact ones that we got. but they're something like this:

The bottles would always roll around too much in the blanket, but the stuffed animal prevents it from rolling around. So we'd put each kid in an infant recliner chair (strapped in w/ a 3 point harness), bunch up 3 receiving blankets (per kid) on their lap, and put the bottle in the bottle holder, and that worked very well.

I have been using Mother's 3rd Arm for my triplets since they were 6 months old and it has been very useful. I found this product after a lot of searching around for something to prop baby bottle and actually found out about it when i saw another couple with triplets using this product and they were just praising it. So i figure i give it a try. I had been using blankets and pillows to prop bottles before but that just doesn't work and end up causing more frustration. It was a little difficult to order Mother's 3rd Arm, i had to wait a little bit before i got them. When i got them i tried them on car seats and WoW it worked Great. My kids are now 15 month old and i am still using Mother's 3rd arm to hold their sippy cups and bottles. I like it because i can attach it to different things at home and in the car and it holds different size and shape cups and bottles. I would recommend it if you still need one.

Here's another idea:
The Podee handsfree bottle. Your baby is old enough to use it, and I thought these bottles were GREAT. You can find them at BRUS.
