#781, "new triplets have a question"

So my GGG trips are 4weeks old and i have been on TC since i found out i was prego with them. I have started reading the infant section now that my girls are here. Well here is my question: When you ladies talk about that your children are 3months and 2weeks adjusted or so on what does that mean? they are 3months but they have only been home 2weeks? i don't understand can someone please explain this to me. Thanks sorry if this is a silly question just want to understand when people say this. thanks and i look forward to chatting here for a long time.

Adjusted age is what age they would be if they had went to 40 weeks gestation (the original due date.) If your girls are were to be 6 weeks old actual age, since you had them at 35 weeks, they would actually be 1 week old adjusted.

I will also say that since you were able to carry yours to 35 weeks (CONGRATULATIONS , by the way) that you will probably not have to deal with the adjucted age stuff at all. Mine were born at 24 weeks so adjusted age played a big part in their development. Once they turned 2, we dropped it altogether.
