#3677, "Outdoor play set"
|
My trio will be 3 in June and we are thinking about getting them an outdoor playset for their birthday. We are looking at this one: http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=327687
Any pros or cons to something like this? We would like to get something that they can grow into instead of buying two different play sets. Thanks! Lisa

My brother has a similar one from Sam's club (got it about 2 years ago) and it's great. I have one from Costco. They definitely can grow into it so I say go for it. Thanks for all the help with this decision! I think we will look into one of the play sets from Sam's since we don't have a Costco in our town and we can't afford the Rainbow play sets! I knew where to come to for the best advice! Lisa

We have the one from 3 yr ago and my girls love it still. My 3 nephews have last years model from sams club. That one is really nice. I think that you will be impressed with it. Have lots of help set up. It should take you about a day maybe a wkend to put it up. We then put landscape logs around the whole thing and put a thick layer a mulch down. If you are considering doing this make sure your kids wear their shoes. Our kids were constantly getting splinters from the mulch. Now they know to wear shoes, sometimes. Between the deck and the mulch, all summer long I am pulling splinters out of their feet. Not fun.

Just a thought for you if it is not too late. Have you looked at LOWES at all? We got our playset from there and it is very similar to what you posted. You are able to pick and choose what items you want on the set. I think it was about the same price or less. The GOOD NEWS they will come and assemble it for you. One guy was sent from the company and he put it together himself in about 5 hours.
