Just wanting some input. I was thinkng about getting my 4 year old trio the Tag reading system for Chrismas. Do any of you currently use it? Would I need 3? Is there something else you use that you like better?
Thanks for your input!

Jennifer~
I don't know anything about the Tag reading System, but it sure sounds like it would be a great educational game for kids. And it's on sale right now at Target.
I'm actually thinking of getting it for my girls, too. I think anything from Leap Frog is pretty good...

I bought this for my kids last Christmas. They really seem to enjoy it and still use it now. My kids were fine with one to share between the 3 of them. I set a timer and give each one of them 15 minutes of uninterupted play time, then they switch.
They also got Leapsters last Christmas and LOVE those as well. These are great toys for travel or a little quiet time alone laying on the couch. For us they are a lifesaver when we have to drag the trio my older DDs soccer games. Educational, fun, and durable!

Kim, do they get tired of reading the same Tag books over and over again? I am worried about this, as it doesn't seem like there's a huge variety (or am I wrong on this?).

I kinda thought they might. But, they don't seem to. Now this may be because they are rotating between the Tag and the Leapsters. I bought 6 books (2 for each kid) and they each got 2 Leapster games for Christmas. So we have 6 Tag books and 6 leapster games.
This seems to be plenty of variety to keep them interested. They have been playing them for a solid year and I have never seen them get bored. They do share the 6 between the 3 of them. If they only had the 2 that they got for Christmas they may have gotten bored by now. The Tag book are not only the story, but there are games you can play in each book.

Thanks so much for the input. I will have to think about the Tag... two of my three are very interested in reading right now. If I spread the word about us getting both Leapsters and a Tag, friends and family could buy them the books/ games.
