My girls are approaching 10 months (almost 7 months adjusted) and there are is no interest in holding their own bottles. How did you teach them to hold their own? I put their hands to the bottle when I feed but they have no interest. I still hold each one when feeding. Any advice would be wonderful!!

Don't have any advice but my trio never held their own bottles, ever!!! They were lazy and there was always someone there to help me feed them. I guess that is why. They are almost 5 years old now and had no problem switching from bottle to sippy cup to regular cup. They can all hold their own now

I have to agree with Suzanne some kids never hold their own bottles. I think all three of mine did at some point but I have a singleton 10 month old who isn't holding her bottle.

ur trips were 11 months before all three would hold their bottles (I think sippy cups by then) and I cried real tears of happiness. Our new baby had been trying to hold his bottle for a month but I won't let him. I love that snuggle time with just one!

We are lame. I was using the avent bottles which are huge. We saw a tiny baby holding a small bottle at church so I was determined to try again. I handed them each a Medela bottle and they held with no problem...one even had a block in the other hand. Thanks!!
