Anyone know.. at what age should we stop letting the kids go potty together or see each other naked? My trips (GBG) are 3y9m now and they don't seem to mind. But I wonder about how much longer is it OK for them to see each other naked. They're past the curious stage about each others' privates.. so when should it stop?

It's probably different for you since you've got a mix of kids there, but I still bathe my kids together at over 5 y.o.

I remember growing up and showering together with my mom and sister at campgrounds (simply because you paid by quarters and only had so much hot water) for quite a while, and it didn't damage me... that I know of

I'll probably continue on bathing them together until they ask to take a separate shower/bath OR they outgrow the tub.

We stopped doing community baths when my gang started kindergarten. I remember asking my older sister this question ( she has 4 kids different ages). She told me I would just know when it's time. She was right. There comes a day when you just know to stop. For us it was kindy.

I am a firm believer that the kids will let you know when because they will decide to be more private themselves. My friend has trips that are 18 month older and she said they have started dressing in their rooms with the doors closed recently.

I think it has a lot to do with your family dynamics as well. My six kids range from 13 to 4, with my only son being in the 4 year old triplet set, and we have no privacy. Even in my four bathroom house, the master bathroom is like a meeting hall. LOL! Just last night, I'm peeing, my oldest was at the mirror doing her hair, another one was in the shower, and my five year old was just hanging out to chat. =)
Now my husband is a different story. He is totally private. But my son enjoys hanging out there for the whole world to see, lol. I would respect the privacy needs of my children, when they begin to demonstrate a need for it. Other than that, I wouldn't pay it another thought.

Yes. Yes. We are rich. I am dripping in diamonds and toilets. Oh, you should all be so lucky. Too bad if you're not. Be jealous. Be very, very jealous...

(To be perfectly honest, it's really not that many. Three of them are full baths and the fourth is simply a powder room. You can pee, but you can't bathe. I suppose I should have said 3.5 bathrooms? However, I think you may have missed the point of my post...BWHAHAHA!!!)

Oh yes. I can feel the bathroom envy now. Suck it up, kylamel. I am a potty queen.

Im soooo jealous!!! lol

I know, no matter how many potty rooms you have the littles tend to congregate in the one that mommy (or mommy and daddy) are in.

We have community bathroom times here, too!

LOL We have 4 toilets too and it's a PITA to have to keep them all clean. Mine is 3 full and 1 half. I'll be happy when other people learn to clean these gems!

5 1/2 and still bathing together without a care in the world and changing in the same room. They know they are different and that Ryley has "2 butts" and it's not a big deal to them! lol
