What type of car seat have you purchased for your trio and why? I'm leaning toward the Sunshine Radian because of safety and its narrow size. My trio is now 30" and sadly the Pegs are almost done.

Thanks!

We bought the Graco Nautilus. They are wonderful, fit 3 across, and convert to a booster. It is the last car seat you will ever have to buy!

They measure 19" across so they won't fit in our Suburban. What type of car do they fit 3 across in? I'm jealous!

We have an Expedition EL. It is a tight fit, but it works! You just have to put the m in a certain order (I think driver to passenger side) so that you can get your hands on all the straps!

We are 19 weeks pregnant with trips and have a 2 year old. Seriously considering the Expedition EL. Do you have all 3 seats in the 2nd or 3rd row? if you had 4 kids and needed to get 4 car seats in your EL between the 2nd and 3rd row, how would you configure them?

I bought the radian 80's. I love love love them. Seats go up to 80lbs so you shouldnt have to buy another seat. They fit 3 across my tahoe and there is enough room to latch the buckles. I use the "mighty tite" fasteners to get the seats tight. It is sooo easy. Escpecially when you have to take them out to wash them. The last thing you feel like doing is kneeling, pulling, and fighting to get the seats tight. With the fastener all you have to do is use the little lever to pull it tight. My seats dont move at all. They are also made by sunshine kids and have been crash tested.

I love my Radian's... and I was able to fit all three across the Honda CRV, an Accord and a Nissan Maxima. I know have a Mini-van as it seemed once they hit 2.5 years old, the ability they had to mess with each other only increased everyone's unhappiness during car rides - including my own

Graco Cargo seats are only 15inches across and fit three across. They are a cheaper option when compared to the Radians and we have been very happy with ours.

We went with the Recaro Young Sport- we love them. All three fit comfortably in the 2nd row of our Navigator.
