Tell them now that they are 4, it is time that they start taking baths alone. You're the Mom, this shouldn't be a big deal.

If they are different sexes then explain that boys and girls don't take baths together once they are 4.

I love hearing their versions of their childhood memories!!

They're only 4 and any interest in each other's private parts is merely curiosity, and you just explain that they are private and not to touch. My kids are only just starting to hide from each other now at the age of 11. You're still supervising baths, so I don't see the problem. Mine were split when they starting bathing themselves at around age 7.

My kids started taking sep. baths when they were about 4. I let them get in the tub together for play time but they have to wear their swim suits. Maybe explain to them what the PP said, but them let them have a play bath together with their suits on.

I don't know, I am with the UK mom. My trio just turned 5 and they still bathe together. They know they look different but know not to touch. Doesn't seem to be a big deal to them. Bathing them together is so much easier and less water is wasted.

When family is in town we do showers seperately but it is a pain in the A##!!!
