I am wondering who has 4 bedrooms so all trips have their own room? What floors are they on? Do you like the flow of it? We are currently in a 3 bedroom and have all bedrooms upstairs and no full baths down, it has been really tough going up and down stairs for everything, naps, baths, laundry, etc...we are looking at getting a 4 bedroom so they can all have their own room. We would love to have all 4 bedrooms on the bottom floor with the laundry room and a bonus up for playing but they are really hard to find and really expensive. We are going to have to look at 3 bedrooms down and 1 up or 2 up and 2 down, just wondering if anyone has this now and how they like it?????? We have one girl and 2 boys and currently they are all in one room in crib tents, but it is about time for their own room and toddler beds, any advice would be great!

Hi Joy,

Our boys all have their own rooms, on the second floor of our house. We moved when our boys were almost 2 years old. I remember being very concerned about stairs at that time, and I wished we could buy a house with the bedrooms on the first floor (but that is practically non-existent in our area).
Now that our boys are a bit older (almost 4), the stairs are not an issue as they go up and down on their own. Now I am really happy they are all on the same floor as us. I would be more worried if the bedrooms were split between floors and they had to go up or down stairs at night to find me.
So, although I don't have the set-up you are considering, I think your issues with stairs are likely temporary. I personally would look for a 4 bedroom with all bedrooms on the same floor.

Good luck! Let us know what you find. I love house-hunting, but hate moving!
