I saw a news report that said it's THE hot thing this year. NOthing like that to hype it even more and make it impossible to find. I did see some items at Target yesterday, but a lot of empty spaces on the shelf too.
My 8 year old hasn't said much about it, but I think it would be fun for him to have when all the kids come back to school talking about it (if they aren't already). I think it's a game (based on a cartoon??) that requires some math or other learning.
ETA: I noticed that TRU.com has free shipping on $50 purchase. Not sure when it ends. Also I just discovered their rewards program. YOu can sign up online. I think there was a shipping deal or a $15 coupon for something. Worth looking into

I just saw in the Target toy book they ahve a game board of some sort. Not sure if it's still available online but worth a look. I think there was a coupon associated with it. MonsterMom6 10 year old ^b^ b twins @ 30w5d (1 survivor) and 8 year old gggg quads @ 32w0d

I was able to buy them in TRU on a couple of occasions. I had the best luck buying them on Saturday mornings. They usually put new shipment on the shelves after stores closes on Friday night.
Since they fairly inexpensive (set containign 1 ball and 1 magnetic card is $3.99) I use them as bribes (I mean rewards for good behavior and completing an extra curricular work )
Boys LOVE them. Inna, mom to Rachael (8/7/99), Evan, Ari and Josh (5/29/01)

I saw those in the toys r us book and was wondering what it was. I assumed it was a Pokemon type thing. Is that not the case? I have been avoiding the Pokemon stuff. Tasha Have children afraid of monsters or just looking for a fun kids app? http://www.goawaymonster.com/

All my DS#2 asked for for XMAS was everything Bakugan. I have been very diligent chacking the stores and Amazon an beleive it or not I think I have finally managed to get them all. It was a DIFFICULT feet to say the least.
Amazon has many, check Walmart late Thursday night, this is when they stock the toy section and finally TRU in Canada has many you can order online. The only prob with this is that you have to get them delivered to a Canadian address and then have someone mail them to the US. This works for us because all my family live in Canada.
Good Luck. I am so happy I am completely done all my XMAS shopping for all 6 of my kids. Yes, I am kinda OCD so this has helped LOL. B 1997 B 1999 B 2001 G,B,B 11/5/2007 36 week take home babies

I don't know what it is either but I bought a set at Costco last week for $32...it has the balls, cards and mat. The only reason I got it is because I ran into an aquaintance there and she told me it was the hot item to get. She said the same set is going for $200 on eBay now.
I don't even know if my DS knows what it is but I didn't want to have another Barbie cash register Christmas where that's the only thing my DD wanted so I ran around like crazy trying to get one and could not.

I had never heard of these until yesterday when the moms at library class were talking about trying to find them. One of the moms said our Walmart just got in a big shipment of these. Her dd was wanting one because all her friends at school had them.
If you like, I can check to see if they still have any. Any particular one you're looking for?

Hi Terri,
I realize this isn't a toy, but I did find "Bakugan" t-shirts at Walmart for $8.88.
They are in the boys section toward the back wall where all the "logo" shirts are folded (I am guessing the display racks are pretty universal across the country with Wal Mart).
