#1113, "Frog costume"
|
My one DD wants to be a frog for Halloween, but I haven't found anything for a five year old.
Are there frog costumes for older kids? I keep finding baby ones. Maybe this is a good time to let her know that frog costumes are for babies. LOL!

Once for a dance routine when we were little we were frogs. The costumes were big, puffy sewn things with green tights. Doing something like that would be a bit of a sewing challenge.
But the cutest part of it was the hats---They were green hoodie things with the egg shaped pantyhose things glued to it and black pupils drawn on it to look like big eyeballs.
Does that make sense??? I don't even know if they still sell that type of pantyhose---was the name brand maybe Legg's?? Hope I have described this right!?!? Maybe fashion a greet hat with the plastic egg things glued to it and a green sweatsuit? HTH! Shiloh--Proud Mom to: BGG born 2/04 B born 7/06

Oh, ladies. Thank you so much for thinking I could ever SEW a costume! You're talkin' to the wrong triplet Mom! I can't handle sewing a button on.
I did end up finding a frog costume at none other than my favorite place to shop: TJ Maxx!
Great creative ideas you have.
