I know this has been asked in the passed but I never payed any attention, Sorry. My trio are invited to their first K friend birthday party. Do they each bring a gift or do I just get one big one? what do you normally do?

I usually let them each pick out something small to bring. I figure when people come to our parties they usually buy each of my kids a gift. So in return each of my kids should bring a gift. KWIM?

We typically let each of my kids take their own gift. It seems to be important that they each have their own to give to the birthday boy/girl.

Depends on how close we are to the person. Classmate each bring a small gift. A close friend we may pool together to get a larger nicer gift we know he/she is wanting.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I was thinking the same way. I know each one of mine wants to bring a gift so that is what we will do. Like I said this is our first school friend birthday party. Normally, I get one big gift from them.
