I thought you guys might be interested in how the kids reacted when their teacher told them today she was quitting.

They were like, WHATEVER. They didn't care AT ALL. I was sort of a little stunned to be honest. Wow. They don't even care. I am obviously more attached to her than them!

I guess having them in 7540 different classes with 9235 teachers since they were two (so I wouldn't kill them) finally paid off!!! Yeahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I KNOW. My next problem is that they spent the whole time they were at school watching the Lion King, so the teacher could test the children that don't speak English to see how much English they know. Uhm, why did I even send them to school today? They could have watched Lion King at home. Argggggggggggggggggg.

Seriously. I would be irked, too.

I get that movie time might be fun, but certainly not often. And your teacher used it to keep a group of kids content while she tested another group? She could have set something up way more educational than watching The Lion King.

Even when I taught, I used the movie activity very infrequently because honestly? I felt guilty!

Too funny!!!! Kids are so funny aren't they?!

Btw...I cringe when my kids tell me they have watched a movie at school( usually on Friday's or even at lunch..but still). Last year in 1st Grade they had a very young first year teacher. I swear they watched movies ALL the time! Totally irritated me. They can do that at home. They are there to LEARN damn it! Teach my kids...I'll fill their little heads with mindless TV!
