Do you have any great websites for counting money and making change?

We've been using a number line, which has been the only way my girls are grasping this rather abstract concept.

Today, their homework was: Count up the money in the one column and determine how much more is needed to buy the item in the other column.

Without a number line to refer to, I'm not sure we could have knocked these papers out.

I don't want them getting frustrated. We've got a good momentum going and I want to keep it going with some fun websites.

I don't know of any websites but how about letting them play store?

Give them some change and maybe fake dollar bills (depending on what size money they are learning) and play restaurant, grocery store, deptpartment store etc.

Learning is always more fun when play is included.

All of my kids have learned to count money and make change by playing Monopoly, Monopoly Jr. and the Allowance Game. They're so set on winning they don't even realize they are learning this very important skill.
