You'll have such a fun time. I've taken my 3 girls age 6, three times so far. It helps to prepurchase meals; Goofy's kitchen is great it's fun and a buffet, so no waiting for food. Plus you can RSVP (call Disney priority seating prior to your trip at 714-956-6755)and actually have a scheduled meal time planned. We ate breakfast in our room and packed snacks into the park. Try to hit the popular rides early when crowds are not so bad and you can use the fast pass system. All it allows is a window for you to get on certain rides with a shorter line. You can read about it on Disney's web site. My girls enjoyed the Pirates and haunted mansion but your 3 yr old my not, too scary. plan the logistics of how many can ride before you wait in the line and can't get out it or have to turn back once up front. Some rides allow 4 and some 2. Dad was in the bathroom and I had 3 girls at the Peter Pan ride but had to turn back, since I couldn't leave one child out and they needed another adult. Have fun!!! Meg, I'd say (1) don't overlook California adventures. We went there one day and Disneyland the next on a 2-parks-for-1 deal that I think Disney still offers, (2) make sure to eat a good, sit down lunch each day so everyone can get rested and refreshed, and (3) have fun yourself! thanks all for your input! we just got back and had a GREAT time! the weather was beautiful and the kids had such a fun time. we were all set to get fast passes and after the first ride we realized our son with autism was NEVER going to make it through the 4 days without a complete nervous breakdown (he bascally ate his shirt in the first line we stood in for 10 minutes...) so we went adn spoke with someone at city hall who met our son and gave us a special guest pass for our 4 days. made the WORLD of difference for our little family and we were able to enjoy so many rides without the stress of having our son in some of those lines. thanks for all your tips and info, it was actually one of the funnest trips we've had as a family. even me being pregnant and the 2 year old still had fun going on the 'easier' rides!
