I've just been figuring out our schedule this summer and thought I'd see what other people were planning. When I looked at what we are doing, there are only a few weeks that we don't have something going on. It doesn't help that they have to report back to school for open house on Aug. 11, then start the next Monday.

Each of them have a half day enrichment type class for a week this summer. DS will learn about dinosaurs, DD1 about animals and DD2 about what Junie B teaches us about manners and such. That takes 2 weeks away since I couldn't find classes for all of them in the same week. Then another 2 weeks for swimming lessons. Another week with the grandparents and the summer's half gone.

With school starting so early, there will only be 2 or 3 weeks to choose from to do any sort of family trip. We were thinking of a small trip or two just to nearby places. Hope we can find a time for that before it's back to school time. If not, I guess there's always school breaks.

triplets going into 2nd grade

Our summer is going to be somewhat busy. My girls are going into summer school for the month of July. I find it helps with my sanity because they're not home all day.
For the month of August...is nothing but holidays. Since my dh has his own business... he made sure there were no customers booked for that month.
We have a 28' motorhome and our holidays are camping out in the boonies (husband and girls love to go fishing). Two weeks ago we added more fun for our camping trip and bought an atv and the girls are really excited to start on our ritual camping trips with atv adventures.
Anyways....the girls are looking forward to being in grade 3 in september.
