I just got the letter from the elementary school. DD did not get into the all day Kindergarten class next year. We have 1 all day class with 27 slots. They had almost 80 applicants for it. We are #23 on the wait list. She has been in preschool 1/2 days for 2 years now, and is soooooo ready for a full day of class. But on the bright side, at least I won't be paying for classes next year.

Sorry to hear you did not get the full day as you wanted - it seems crazy to have such demand and so little room!

I'd be bummin' too. We red-shirted my girls and they would do great in an all day class. Not so sure about last year, at least not early in the year. I would have paid to have them in full day if I had the option.
