For anyone who has had succes or failure with the Potty Pager, can you tell me how long it was before you started seeing a difference? We're doing this with my 5 1/2 year old.

We are on Day 4 with no change. Day 3 was really bad - he peed 4 times in one night and it was EXHAUSTING.

I know it's going to take awhile, but encouragement is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I don't recall exactly how long it took but can say for certain within three weeks both of my girls (that were still bedwetting @ 6 years old) were staying dry. At that point I stopped using the pager. It was probably somewhere between one and two weeks that something really clicked. I was absolutely amazed. Yes, those first few nights were exhausting but stay with it and hopefully you will have results soon.

Carrie we bought the Potty Pager and did not have much success with it. My DS did well the first week, then started sleeping right through the pager going off. I would walk in the room and could hear it going off and he was fast asleep. Didn't seem to bother him. I gave up after a couple of months. We have tried to use it here and there but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I talked to the pedi and she reminded me that it is hereditary and he would most likely grow out of it eventually. DH was 12 I think before he stopped.

Thanks, Terri. We have now had it two weeks. Our son had 4 straight days of nothing, and then last night (or this morning), he peed at 6:07am, which is still a good success in my mind. So, I think he just needed a little shove in the right direction.

Thank you for your story, and I do appreciate both sides of it working or not.

Carrie,

We did this with my DS and it total it took about 1 1/2 months before he felt he didn't need it anymore. The first week was Hell. And yes it was several times a night that we had to wake up and change everything, but after that it became later and later into the morning hours that he would have an accident. it wasn't too long before he had his first dry night, and then it was an every other night thing for a couple of weeks and then longer stretches and finally he was done. I felt so bad for him because he was so tired during the training time, but honestly it worked so well and so quickly. I highly recommend the Potty Pager because of it. Godd luck!
