#16, "Hairy Arms"
|
Hi Everyone,
My daughters are fair skinned and have medium/dark brown hair - including the hair on their arms. They are "coming of age" and are starting to become self-conscious about the hair on their arms. Do any of you know of an effective way to eliminate the hair on their arms?
Thanks in advance!

LOL... I saw the title and HAD to come over to see what this was about.
I have/had hairy arms my whole life. I've used everything you can think of - wax, creme, shaving, etc... I HATE MY ARMS. I can sympathize with their pain.
Just recently I started using Nad's to rip the hair out and my arms are so smooth, plus the stuff rinses off with warm water (not sticky like wax).
It really doesn't hurt that bad, either.
I have pics on my site from the last time I did it:

HTH, and good luck to your daughters! Loren GGG Jan.2005 @ 28wks

I naired my arms once but it looked weird so I used to bleach it. My arms weren't super hairy but my hair is really dark. Now my arm hair got lighter and i don't so anything anymore but I have no idea how it got light. Stefanie

My pre-teen uses the Nair Hair Remover called "Shower Power". It is a bath soap hair remover that comes with a two sided sponge. You lather the area of removal as you get in the shower with one side of the sponge. At the conclusion of your shower, take the other side of the sponge and rub off the lather. That's it! Now granted, she uses this on her legs as I won't let her have a razor yet, but it says it is also for arms. It works great for her and I don't have to be concerned about sharp objects in the tub! LOL!
